This is an amazing park with large acreage and convenient places to picnic, walk, drive a motorcycle, etc. But unfortunately, I cannot give it a high rating because of two reasons. The front gate is virtually impossible to enter through! They use a computerized entrance mode, which frequently does not work properly. It rarely will take credit cards, and then will only take exact change of a five dollar bill. And of course, that also rarely works. Currently, there is a stack up of five cars trying to gain entrance to the park. The drivers are all out of their cars and very frustrated standing at the entrance trying to get in. Also, the door to the women’s restroom near the entrance does not latch and so the door just hangs open while you were trying to use the restroom. This is an amazing park, which we love to use, but is such a hassle. I truly wish that it was better maintained both in the entrance and...

The park is nice to ride in and the kids area is very convenient, except for the old man that just yelled at us for me sitting on the back of my sons 50 trying to teach him to balance and lean into turns. He threatened to call the cops after we apologized numerous times & said it wouldn't happen again!! Then some other people told us how he was driving very fast behind another little kid that was on a four wheeler in his truck to get to us. Not only are there grown adults ripping around on the kid track at high speeds (which is clearly posted as NOT allowed), but I have seen several other people not following the park rules since we pulled in!! If you're going to enforce one rule enforce them all!!! We probably won't be coming back to ride here and we have several friends who won't be back either...not worth paying the money to deal with grumpy old men that...

Attendant that works up at trophy club park is disgustingly rude to people who are simply just wanting to check the park out. His name is Roy and has whitish hair, Dailey older man. He has no common courtesy and threatened to call the cops on me for being there 10 minutes before the park was supposed to close. I am a photographer, so I was simply just wanting to scout out beautiful locations, and felt harassed during the process. Meanwhile there are 6 other people still inside the park limits that have not left, and he is not harassing them. Of course, they’re all MX riders who are male and not a female photographer…make your own judgment but i WILL NOT ever return or suggest that somebody that I know should go visit this park, (due to the nasty, hateful people...

This is a super cool place to have a great time on! The MX and hiking trails are near the lake and has become a popular destination for people from all over the meteoplex. My kiddo and I love riding around and its a nice little escape from the hustle bustle of the city. As our city grows so does the crowd, with that being said timing is a big factor for when you decide to pack up and head over there. More people means more risk and less people are safety oriented if you know what I mean. Definitely a fun place and worth a visit.

This is a beautiful sprawling park with everything you could ask for in the way of hiking trails, boating, fishing, bird watching, horseback riding trails, motor cross trails, wildlife viewing, frisbee golf, photography opportunities, etc. I would say there’s something for everyone. The trails are well maintained and easy to follow either by the maps that are usually available at the various entrances or on Google maps. Sunrise to sunset, there’s something for everyone.

Easy to get to and not far from restaurants if not packing your own. The shore was very muddy and not a lot of space to put in. The park also has OHV trails so you hear the buzzing of motorcycles while paddling. Did not like the entrance fee that required a trailer with 4 kayaks to pay the boat ramp fees despite the fact that we were not going to use the launch.
