Madison Lakes Park and Conference Center is a large and beautiful area operated by Montgomery County. The north side of the park has the conference center, playground, shelter house, boardwalks,restrooms, and a large parking area. This side has paved walking paths and great views of the lake. The rest of the park has paths and trails that actually go completely around all of the park and have scenic views of the lakes, cliffs, and the surrounding area. The trails and paths are unmarked but easy to follow. They are, for the most part easy but there are areas that are moderate in difficulty. Read moreI came to Madison Lakes to take a walk and check out the park since I hadn't been there in a long time. I used to play here as a child. Today it looked like they were changing some things. The front playground was gone and there was fresh dirt in its place. The lake is pretty but I'm not sure if fishing is possible with all the foliage in the water, growing up from the bottom.
