This a nice park made around the Dam with multiple communion areas, two different play sets, and some short trails. We've gone here twice now, and haven't made it to the opposite side of the river yet, but it does look like there are more trails over there. Each time we saw multiple people fishing and even though there was a large party the one time, we were mostly able to avoid people. The one play set is big enough that my teens still enjoyed playing on it. We brought our dog and walked through their trails. We only saw two other people with dogs there, so while they're welcome, if your dog isn't as crazy about other dogs, it's a decent place to go. There is a drinking fountain with a dog fountain. The first time we went we actually saw a massive buzzard running around the picnic area down by the dam. There are bathrooms up near the main communal area and another down by the dam. I did not experience the former, but the latter is the fanciest portajohn I've ever experienced.

This place is special. Whoever planned this park was very careful about which trees were cut down to make way for the playground. There are several old, gross, beautiful trees, situated all around which offer the perfect amount of shade and serenity. The bathrooms are brand new and there are two different huge playsets one for older kids and 1 for younger kids. We haven’t even made it over to the dam yet, and I am already reviewing this place because I cannot believe how nice it is! We’re just passing through on our way from Charlotte to Michigan, but this will definitely become a beloved spot from now on.

Our first time here was a blast. It's really a beautiful little area. My son (4 years old) had enough to do on this big playground that he didn't even care to walk over to the other playground area (smaller and geared towards smaller children) Picnic area, tables, restrooms and grounds all very clean. It's a pretty area to walk around at and view the reservoir. We will definitely be going back.

I was invited to a high school graduation party at the Delaware Reservoir Playground. The party was large with families elders thru newly born. The party pavilion was large enough for seating the crowd.

The wood-burning grills worked perfectly heating prepared food, a well as cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, and buns.

There was plenty of room for the children to play and letting the adults catch up on family news.

We lead the youngers to the Delaware Dam. They learned the purpose of the dam and it's important mission. They really liked to roll down the hillside.

Everyone commented about the...
