Eldon Russell Park — Attraction in Troy Township

Great spot with a boat ramp to launch your kayak on the Cuyahoga River. It's usually really nice but do not go right after a heavy rain fall unless you don't mind exposing yourself to raw sewage. Very easy place to put in your kayak or canoe. On a summer weekend there will be several businesses dropping off groups of renters here, but you can manage get away from them if you want. If you really want to get away from the crowd, about 1/2 mile downstream where the main Cuyahoga turns left, you can go right into Bridge Creek.
