The museum consists of a "village"- multiple structures like a doctor's office, barber shop, general store and post office, school house, church, maple sugaring shack, a structure full of carriages and wagons , and railroad shanty. There is also a house from the 1800s with many items from the time period on display. The main structure houses farm implements, toys, and artifacts from Native Americans as well as other items used in previous generations. The museum is open Tuesdays and Saturdays May- October, and is cash only. Volunteers at the museum give you a guided tour. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
