Price Family Farms — Attraction in Troy

Where is the option to add to a 5 star rating? I’ve purchased a side of Beef from Price Family Farms twice over the past few years and the meat quality and taste is second to none. Grocery Store beef doesn’t compare to what Dave and Price Family Farm provides, in taste, quality and cost. When I first contacted Price Family Farms as a newbie, Dave responded within hours, sharing a lot of information about his farm, ordering process and availability. I ordered a half late 2022 and it was the best beef we have ever had. Wish I had discovered Price earlier. Choosing the right farm is an important decision; I did order ⅛ side elsewhere between my first and second order to compare, and it was okay, but not at the level I quickly grew to expect coming from this farm. Happy cows come from the Price Family Farm! Dave is tireless in his endeavor to raise beef the way nature intended...on a pasture of grass, free of any antibiotics and with the freedom to roam about. He is passionate about doing things the right way to raise stress-free beeves that are finished on grain for excellent marbling and flavor, but the tenderness is second to none! As self-professed "beef nerd" Dave will talk to you about the difference of his locally raised beef vs. what you get in the grocery store or wholesale club until, well...the cows come home! Farmer Dave runs a fantastic operation! I have been a customer of his since about mid 2021. Since then I have ordered several quarters, sides, even a couple of wholes from him. Not only has the beef been absolutely stellar in flavor and texture, but his process from deposit to pickup is possibly as streamlined as you can get. My family has gotten to the point that we will strictly only buy beef from the store if we happen to run out before getting our latest order from Price.
