I visited here in March 2015 on my way to White Sands National Monument. I almost didn't go because I was later leaving Las Cruces than I intended. But I was so glad I did as I thought it was amazing. The military members serving on the base, who have to check you in, were so friendly - and I was very proud of them. I'm originally from England and have been an American Citizen for a long time. However, there is a separate building which houses one of the German bombs that were used to bomb England in World War 11, which brought tears to my eyes.
