Unfortunately, many animals were off exhibit. They've completed the playground. However, we skipped it because of all the illness going around I doubt it gets sanitized regularly. I also noticed that the price of souvenirs cups are slushies went up to 6:50 which is outrageous and the cups are smaller than they were in the previous years. This was the first weekend we've been to the zoo in about 3 years typically we are members but with all the shut down we had not renewed our membership yet we are from out of town not sure if we will renew it or not you definitely need to keep fixing the handicap doors automated doors because most of them still don't work and some of them don't have them at all which is a nightmare for anyone in a wheelchair or with a stroller besides that in the lack of animals that were out I guess we had an okay time even without seeing the Lions and the red panda which we've never seen there even when we were members and...

Mohawk Park has several positives and negatives.

Starting with positives, it has a huge open area park with a nature center for hiking and learning about Oklahoma wildlife. There are miles of hiking trails, official and unofficial. If you like foraging, then there are many wild plants around the area. The Tulsa Zoo is located within the park and is a great way to spend an afternoon with the family. Lake Yahola is a nice place to fish as well as the lake in the center of the park.

The biggest negative is just that people are messy and sometimes don’t clean up after themselves. If you want to spend some time with the family, you sometimes have to pick up around your site. It has gotten better over the years.

Bring a couple bucks because randomly there is someone at the gate taking money. They are usually there when you would expect more people at the park. Bring yourself a trash bag and blankets. And for goodness sake, pick up...

If your looking for things to do in tulsa Mohawk Park is a great place. As a park it has picnic facilities. There are playgrounds. There's a splash pad. A polo field and disc golf. Multiple shelters in the park some are large and made from stone and others are standard open design some have fountains for water and grills to use there are trash cans at all of them. A very large soccer complex. Now there are 2 big items I haven't touched on but are our favorites and why we go to the park most times they are the Mary k Oxley nature center and trails the nature center is fun with a knowledgeable staff and the trails are great for exploring and seeing oklahoma nature. The second one and last thing I bring up is what we take family to and that's the tulsa zoo it is inside Mohawk park and a great place for kids, family, dates and just to go and walk I can't recommend...
