Posted by the Mom : We went over Spring Break 2016 and it did not feel crowded - even with day campers - people get spread out nicely between the different venues.

Volunteers - 10 stars - very helpful and informative. Easy to find for questions. They are at ticketing, info desk, museum, plane & planetarium. Planetarium 5 stars - had investigated the films available and went to one that was well suited to my 7 yr old. The night sky portion of the program (presented by a volunteer) was very good - informative and his voice was pleasant! The planetarium is available as a stand alone option w/o the museum. We are from a smaller city w/o a planetarium or IMAX, so this was a memorable activity for my child. Museum - 4 stars - what you expect - clean, well marked. NICE to have multiple airplanes that kids can sit in. Kids Gallery - 5 stars -- smart boards, LEGO. Digital RC planes, Checkers. (he went back and forth between main museum and this several times - small enough facility that you can do that). There are also flight simulators on the main floor. We crashed .... LOTS! ;) Jet- 1 star -- just a movie, not worth the $5. A fun theater concept. Cost - 4 stars (w/o Jet) - MOST ANYTHING you do costs about $10-15/person. We had brunch before we went, spent an easy 3 hrs - left while we were still having fun.

Would go again, but not quickly. All-in-all, if you like having a bit of variety and are interested in flight, this is worthwhile. NOT sure it is for large groups with reluctant...

TASM is a great experience for anyone interested in aviation! I love how they focus on the rich history of Aviation in Tulsa, along with a focus on the informative displays and exhibits about the Tuskegee Airmen - such a monumental event in history that everyone should be educated and aware of. I noticed that a lot of reviews say that the museum is small, and you can walk through it in an hour or less. However, I found myself and my friends staying for 3ish hours, and then spent time looking through the outdoor displays. This is because we actually read, watched, interacted with the displays. The staff was so friendly and very kind, they were great at answering any questions we had and providing us with additional information when we inquired.

TASM also participates in Mueseums for All, which means you can enter for just $3/person with valid ID and proof of enrollment into Soonercare (state medicare), or SNAP / EBT, Foster care systems, or social security disability income. You just need to be enrolled in one of those to qualify for the discounted cost. This is fantastic that they participate in this, as it makes access to Tulsa's aviation history accessible to everyone despite their income. Museums are truly for EVERYONE to enjoy!

Thank you TASM for continuing to serve the community by providing people with a fun, educational experience that is...

We spent the day at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, and it was truly out of this world!

From the moment we arrived, Taylor greeted us warmly and let us know about all the amazing things we could experience — from the indoor and outdoor exhibits to the planetarium shows. Of course, we said “yes” to everything!

One of the highlights was meeting Larry, a passionate volunteer who showed us an impressive 18-cylinder engine. He took the time to explain how it works, which was fascinating and really brought the history of aviation to life. The museum also has plenty of interactive exhibits and flight simulators, making it a hands-on experience where you actually feel like you’re learning something new.

We capped off our visit with the noon planetarium show, and it was incredible! Jack guided us through the stars visible in the night sky and explained how they formed, turning complex science into an awe-inspiring experience. It was one of our favorite parts of the day.

If you’re looking for an engaging, educational, and fun adventure for all ages, this museum is...

9/30/2023 - Absolutely a 100 percent experience on this day. We came here this warm sunny afternoon so my companion could tick off his number one item on his bucket list and fly in a P-51 Mustang, "Gunfighter" that was available at this air base on his birthday. The pilots were very personable and complete professionals. Experience of a lifetime. Highly recommended for airplane enthusiasts. Cockpit tours of other war planes are also available for $20. The museum has some interesting items of note in terms of aviation history from innovative engines to flight simulators. The planetarium has impressive film footage to view with alternating shows throughout the day. "Destination Mars: The Final Frontier" and "Dream to Fly" were showcased during our visit. Tickets are $11. We enjoyed the "Bombers, Brew and BBQ" event and live music provided by "Midlife Crisis" that concluded the evening. Thanks to the band for letting my partner sing a song on stage for more birthday fun.

We came to visit the B-12 WWII flying fortress that was visiting over the weekend. Admission included access the the B-12, as well as another outdoor plane, the entire indoor exhibit, and the planetarium. The workers here were very knowledgeable and friendly, we learned a lot from them. The displays were well taken care of and there was a specific children's space exhibit upstairs. Ask for a discount if you are a student or military. My only complaint was that the front desk did not tell us that the planetarium only held shows every hour, so we missed getting to see the star display as we spent all our time with the planes and could not stay for the next show. I would have time managed better if I had known about that. Overall, great place to visit and take kids (or adults) to learn about some cool history!
