I love this park has everything that you could ask for. You have the playground Area along with the baseball field, trails to walk an enjoy nature, picnic areas even a spot to have a birthday party or family get together.i almost an forgot about the swimming area they have a half square dock it.the water isnt very deep tell you get into the far side of the dock then it gets kinda deep. The lake that you would be swimming in is called black lake by the way

This is a really nice park! There are 2 playgrounds, one is bigger and more for older kids, and the other is small and for ages 2-5. The water is warm and there's lot of room for people of all ages to swim! You can jump off the dock or wade by the shore. They even have lifejackets available to borrow.

Great park has a trail and woods area great for exploring with toddler and kids. Only a port a potty at playground but actual bathroom across the street near the trails, there is a building that is cute not sure what it’s for but we enjoyed playing at both places.

We reserved the lodge for my daughter's graduation party. The place has nice table and chairs, big kitchen with so much counter space. Front and back covered porches. Open grass area to sit in the sun, if the weather is nice & room for kids to run about. Walking distance to the lake. Everyone went swimming & some went on nature hikes. We BBQ'd & had tons of food. All they ask is that you put back the tables and chairs, vacuum, clean up the counters, sink, stove & sweep. It really was the best place. Easy to reserve, get the key the day before & return the key the following week. I will always suggest this & will use the facility for more functions. Perfect place for a...

This is one of our favorite parks to visit. It is divided into two areas, each one on opposite sides of the road. On one side you've got walking paths, sports fields, a sheltered picnic area and a playground, this side is more out in the open so you get more sun. On the other side of the park it is much more forested, so there is lots of shade along the beautiful treed walking paths. This side also has picnic tables, bathrooms, a swimming area and a little "lodge" that can be rented for parties and such that overlooks a small stream. If going swimming or kyaking I highly recommend checking the water quality beforehand as Black Lake gets toxic algae bloom from...

Went here to cool off in the lake with my family during the weekday. Even with my knee injury, it was somewhat easy to get to the water. The beach was small but with my large family and about 3 other families already there it did not seem crowded. The swimming area is very kid friendly. We had ages ranging from 3-17 years old playing in the water. The deep area of the water seemed to be blocked by the dock which made it easier to watch the younger kids. My wife enjoyed diving off the dock. Will definitely...
