This place was amazing. The online booking and inline waivers make this very easy. I have always wanted to go for a ride on at ATV/UTV and drive through mud puddles. The mud puddles they had were amazing. They said they dig them themselfs. They did an amazing job. They are not small holes. These are nice big holes with lots of water/mud. When I tell you I got soaked and so dirty I am not lying. It was awesome though. I will say the kids in the back or whoever sits in the back doesnt get anywhere Near as dirty as the people in the front. That part I wish I had known. I would of switched with the kids if they would of let us before we went through the puddles a second time. Friendly and helpful staff. They offer you glasses which you should take even if you have your own. I wore their glasses over my own glasses and I am glad I did because the amount of dust and dirt is crazy. They offer helmets if you want them. The UTVs run very good. They seems to really take care of them. We got back and they were already spraying down the ones we used. I will say two things though that i wish. I appreciate that they take pics for us, but i wish they would of let us get out n take pictures ourselfs. The guy taking our picture for us was nice, but the pics were not like the ones I would of done. I am crazy with taking pics and would of done a lot more and better ones. Also our ride wasnt the full 50 min. I wish we would of had that amount of time. Overall though I dont really have any complaints just small things to suggest. It was well worth the price for 4 people and overall I would do it again. We came from florida and if we ever end up in this area of PA again I can promise you we will be back. This was honestly in the top 3 of the best things of our trip this summer. If you are considering or thinking about doing this, dont think anymore and just do it. You wont regret it. So amazing!!! Thank you so much for a great experience! You all...
Read moreA Disappointing Experience: Our Second Visit
We were filled with anticipation as we embarked on our second adventure this year. Our previous trip during the February break had been absolutely incredible. Our guide had been a gem - funny, laid-back, and effortlessly connected with our group. She encouraged us to let loose and have a blast, showing us the true meaning of fun. Needless to say, we had an unforgettable time.
However, our recent visit will forever be etched in my memory for all the wrong reasons. This time, we were assigned a younger guide who lacked approachability. She seemed oblivious to the atmosphere and couldn't "read the room," if you catch my drift. The tour turned out to be the epitome of dullness, as we sluggishly maneuvered through the obstacle course, never reaching a speed above a snail's pace. We were eager to skip the obligatory "photo op" since we had already heard the entire spiel about the Pocono raceway, but our pleas fell on deaf ears. The guide continued to drone on about the racetrack, completely ignoring our wishes.
To make matters worse, she informed us that due to another group's presence, we had to rush through the tour, leaving us with limited time. As luck would have it, one of the UTVs broke down, wasting an additional ten minutes of our already shortened experience. It was an excruciatingly monotonous ordeal, and we couldn't help but blame our guide for single-handedly ruining our day.
In conclusion, this disappointing visit will forever serve as a stark contrast to our previous exhilarating adventure. The stark difference in guides and their ability to create a memorable experience was evident. We can only hope that future visits will bring back the excitement and joy we once...
Read moreMy husband & I had an absolutely stellar tour with POAT! And because we booked the night before--for a first thing in the morning slot (9:30 to 10:30) and arrived half an hour early (as it suggests on the website) we got to get started early and it was essentially a private tour!! I highly recommend coming the day after a rain! It was a awesome! The experience was so much fun, it was just enough adventure + natural beauty + excitement and breezy relaxation--wrapped into one! Our tour guide JoJo was an absolute blast to be around; fun, engaging, talkative and knowledgeable, she helped us have the best time! Becky at the front desk in the office was also very welcoming, informative but quick and to the point. It was a pleasure to be greeted by her and also found her very helpful when we needed a spot to change after getting muddy. [I would definitely recommend that you bring a change of clothes--while there is no bathroom (they do have porta potties) there is a space in the back to change--so definitely bring a change of clothes with you.] Other helpful things to know: The tour is essentially 3 parts: the challenge course + a nice jaunt around a rocky natural trail (we saw deer) and then a fun set of mud pits at the end! You can expect to get a little muddy in the beginning but they save the best mud splashes for last--so don't worry about being uncomfortable during the rest of your ride through the woods! This adventurous activity was perfect for couples time but we also can't wait to bring our two kids (5 + 13) and try the four-person vehicle! I can't recommend this adventure enough if you're in this area looking for a good time! Sign up today (be sure to complete your forms in advance & arrive early for the "smoothest...
