This is another place, where I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This place is amazing! My husband and I were heading to Tupelo for a concert and I saw it passing through. On our way out, I convinced my husband to stop in. Best decision of the day! If you like Mead, run, don't walk, to the Queen's Reward. The place is beautifully set up and has the most laid back, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is amazing and so very kind. When my husband mentioned to our server that he was a member of a brew club and that they had just made their first mead, she arranged for him to take a tour of the brewing facility by the owners son. He was in hog heaven. We lingered, had a flight, ordered a charcuterie (AMAZING!), and enjoyed the atmosphere. We left with 6 bottles, club membership, and the urge to turn around and do it all again. You can bet your bippy we will be back, and we will have our tribe with us! Thank you, thank you,...
Read moreUpdate: I will not be back! After many years of a successful business, they are trying to run it into the ground over silly stuff. My husband and I have spent lots of money over the years and went to multiple events, but we have began to feel like our money isn't good enough for this establishment! So, we are just going to take our business elsewhere in town and will not refer another person to the meadery! It really is a huge disappointment for this place to go downhill as it is.
We have been to the meadery many times because we are from Tupelo. The mead is amazing, prices are good and the service is the best in the city!! Locally owned wonderful place that we are SOO happy to have in Tupelo! Great date night place! No food is served, but they encourage you to bring your own food or order take out and have...
Read moreExcellent mead, excellent staff. It's my second visit, and it's been great both times. The new Chocolate Covered Cherry flavor is the bee's knees.
Update: My wife and I have been back several times since my original review. It's been great every time. They rotate out several of their offerings, so it's not the same old flavors every time. They have delicious seasonal meads. This last time, with trepidation, brought our two Littles (2 & 4). It was great. Their outside seating has plenty of room, shade, and a few lawn games. My kids ran and played and annoyed the other patrons for several hours.
We always get the tasting every time and recommend it for any visitor, as well, unless you already know exactly what you want. It's a great way to experience all of what they...
