This is one of the original stands, usually stocked full of fresh fruit & vegetables. I stopped by to check out the strawberry situation: the berries were beautiful, juicy & sweet... Altho not as sweet as they will be in coming weeks or with warm, sunny weather, days maybe! Prices are much more than you'll find in the megamart, but then these berries only had to travel a few yards from field to stand instead of 100's of miles by truck. Most everything is more expensive at M. Farms but the old adage "you get what you pay for" holds true here as at most sincere farm stands. One thing that can be a blessing for jam/jelly makers - they have jam berries (just as sweet but smaller in size and firmer and less expensive of course). Other well-known strawberry stands - that have wonderful big tasty berries - do not, as a rule offer "jam berries" for sale. Hope you enjoy this little stand with all it has to offer.
