This old farm was owned by my wife's relatives from generations in the past. Very cool to see how they lived and worked back then. Several interesting buildings to look at from the outside if you drive down the dirt road to the end where their is more parking. The buildings are only viewable from the outside. Some nice trails into the trees and some good bites across the valley. BRING BUGSPRAY! Terrible mosquitoes. A nice visitor center close to the entrance off the dirt road to your right

Was there for their Easter Celebration. My grandchildren loved the search for their Easter baskets. The playground was fun. The teepees were a nice addition. I loved the stage coach building remains. My only wish is that they could do something more to help preserve the building. Since it is part of our history

If you’re looking for an experience in nature, this is the place to go. Natural paths, a variety of terrain and landscapes from prairie to field to wooded areas. This place has it all and that’s not even touching the historical aspect of this wonderful nature preserve!

The grassy trails are nice and groomed. The Stagecoach Trail is a down and back up trail. It brings you out on a road way down by the river. On the map it looks like there is another trail that goes up (or down, depending on if you are at the top or bottom) but we never found the trail. We got all the way to the highway and never found the second trail.

Lots and lots of woodticks found on us as well. Might want to bring...

Nice country location for graduations and family reunions. Plenty of room for large families to roam indoor and outdoors. Trails nearby. Be sure to check for ticks if you go on trails. Trails aren't paved or gravel but instead are grassy so be careful when it has rained as some paths are blocked by standing water or slippery in spots. Very quiet and...
