Odd 1930’s attraction worth pulling over for: Tyrone Sunken Gardens in Fenton, Mich. Really cool history here — check it out and learn all about the vision Charles Eugene Smith had for the area. Total visionary of his time if you ask me 🖤 #roadsideattraction #fentonmichigan #roadsidequirk #michiganhistory

This is such a beautiful place. It was once loved and cared for. Thankfully a boy scout troop did some improvements last year. Blessings for that! The grounds haven't been touched this year. So a group of us are trying to clean it up. This is a very unique place, one of the lowest spots in Michigan. If you visit there please leave only your footprints behind.

Very unique location that I was unaware of after living in the area for 35 years. People have been working on repairs which is nice. In the 5 years or so since I visited last a foot bridge was added and some memorial benches. Definitely worth taking the time to see the sunken garden in person.

Always a mystical and unique experience . I used to live close by and spent many hours walking and exploring the lower area. I believe it is built on a lay line because you can feel the energy through the bottom of your feet. The stones are amazing as are the Archngel and biblical theme bronze statues on the...
