We visited Husch for a wine tasting experience in Jan 2025 when we were in Mendocino and enjoyed the wine and the tasting experience. We had visited Husch in 1987 when the wine industry was a very different world. We enjoyed it then, but moved to So Cal and had not been back. We had occasion to drive through the Anderson Valley again in Feb, and decided we were not going to go wine tasting, but I told my wife I just wanted to stop at Husch. The winery and tasting room experience was great. It is low key- we did not need a reservation, walk in was fine. The wine is great and reasonably priced ($40 to $60 for reds; we especially like the Knoll Pinot and affordable Cabs). We are not big white wine drinkers, but also liked the Sauv. Read moreAbsolutely LOVED our brief visit to Husch. We called for an outdoor and socially distanced reservation on a whim while we were driving through wine country for the long Labor Day weekend. They were able to get us in and we sat outside under a pergola COVERED in ripe table grapes. It was like a fairytale. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and accommodating. My partner and I both got the white wine flight to try together (which is complimentary by the way!). We enjoyed reading the suggested pairings and the descriptions of the wine. If it weren’t for the pandemic we totally would have loved a more in depth look at the winery (we’ll have to come back for sure). We ended up buying 4 different bottles of wine because we loved them so much and they were so affordable. My partner liked them all too and he’s not a big wine guy. So much love for this small family winery in...

You can enjoy your complimentary wine tasting in the converted pony barn from the late 1800's or outside among the flowers, trees & endless rows of grapes!
The grounds here are out of a children's story book! It was love at first sight.
It's family owned and unpretentious. Feels very different from most wineries in Napa. I love this area of the country and everything feels like it's moving in a slower manner which is so welcoming when you visit from a large city that never sleeps.
The ladies who work here are down to earth and it felt like we knew them for years after chatting it up as we got tipsier and tipsier.
