Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens — Attraction in Unicoi

We stopped at the visiting center in Unicorn and talked with the lady working there. She had told us about this place and the bison, she gave a call to the owner who told us to come down. When we got there there he was waiting for us to point us to the way of the bison. He was super friendly and let us go check out his bison and even some of the building he had. This was an amazing experience we had, and it warmed my heart for the kindness we were given. We tried to offer a donation of some kind but he politely decided. This is a unique experience for a place to stay. It's like sleeping in an old general store. Rustic yet updated with modern needs. The light switches are a bit confusing to figure out, not a big deal. Very charming atmosphere. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The host Mrs. Pat gave us an excellent back history on the building, property, including the numerous animals on the farm and beautiful pond. You must try one of Mrs. Pat's delicious baked goods.
