Evans Creek Preserve - Upper Parking Lot — Attraction in Union Hill-Novelty Hill

Pretty casual retreat for a short hike near home. Not super populated since there isn't a ton of parking. There are lots of different trail routes that are well marked with maps and the scenery ranges from hilly forested, small creeks, and open fields. My favorite area park. Good mix of trails, some lowland meadows, a few hundred feet of elevation if you choose, and even some picnic tables to relax for a minute. This is an excellent tralhead to enter Evans Creek Preserve from. There is parking for about 12 vehicles and a restroom. The trail is a beautiful switch backing dirt trail that loses several hundred feet of elevation down to the meadow. There a several wooden bridges and signs with maps.
