Navarathri in Veda should not be missed. My parents and I made it almost all days during this Navarathri. The daily alangaram depicting a form of the Goddess is elaborate and simply stunning. They also performed sumangali/ Kanya poojai during these days. The priests do a wonderful job of not just performing the ritual but also explaining the significance of doing them. During the Saraswathi pooja and the Bagavathi seva we were transported to the divine realm. The accompanying chants and instruments during mahishasura mardhini stotram has to be experienced to believe the energy felt. The volunteer group here is a very committed bunch of people that do a stellar job in pulling everything together. Even during regular days, the priests and volunteers do a wonderful job at everything. The perumal and his alangaram is so beautiful that it stays in your eyes and mind for a long time after you have left the temple.
