The Culbertson Covered Bridge… This bridge was built in 1873 By Ruben L. Partridge at a cost of $1,375. There are only 5 of his bridges remaining in Ohio. Reuben was born September 10,1823 in Wilmington, NY and moved to Marysville, OH in 1855. He owned a furniture business until 1872 when he started building bridges. For the next 45 years Partridge constructed hundreds of bridges throughout Ohio. July 17, 1900 Partridge was killed while moving one of his wooden bridges. He is Buried at the Oakdale Cemetery, in Marysville, OH #history #coveredbridge #drone #inspirational #fyf @Marysville Ohio @o@ohiohistory
