Licking Park District — Attraction in Union Township

Infirmary Mound Park is a beautiful park with lots to offer including walking paths, playgrounds, a small lake, a 4 acre dog park, shelter houses, and an equestrian area. Walking, biking, and riding and permitted on the various trails. There is a phone number available to get information on trail closures. The park is very well maintained and offers regular events including educational activities and night hikes. Fishing and boating are permitted on the lake. This is our favorite place to take the dogs to play and walk. The people and dogs are always very friendly. There are several picnic benches and a gazebo so owners can hang out while the dogs play. I absolutely adore our local park district! Infirmary Park has become a true gem in our community, offering endless opportunities for exploration and fun. The updates and improvements made over the last few years have been nothing short of amazing. I am incredibly grateful to the park staff for their hard work in keeping the trails cleared and safe for us horse back riders, bikers, and hikers. I love what Licking Park District does for our community! I enjoy daily walks on the bike trail and ride my horses on the equestrian trails. We have enjoyed moonlight hikes and rides. There are so Many activities that I have not done yet. I am now retired and want to join in more of the opportunities. Paint at the Park sometime this winter! The opportunities are endless.
