This was a breath of fresh appreciation for God's beautiful creation. On our return trip from Ohio visiting family, we stopped here just to relax and enjoy the clear weather and perfect 75* temps. While my wife paused with a view of her eyelids, I took to the trail that led to a 10-mile view across some of the mountains and valleys of Maryland.

Wish we had more time to explore the stop more as there were informational items, dedications, picnic areas, trails, and space for pets in addition to the very clean and useful restrooms. We did walk our dogs around a bit and took some photos before departing after utilizing the free facilities.
Gorgeous spot to stretch the legs, take a breath, and take in the view. Have photos but they only seem to appear when I try to post them separately. Just stop and see for yourself what is there, then! Very convenient location, too. Just watch out for deer near there. We saw the aftermath of a recent accident with such wildlife as well as remnants of older ones for a good stretch...
