Estate Whim Sugar Mill — Attraction in United States Virgin Islands

Prior to our visit, I emailed their office to confirm a tour would take place and was encouraged to visit during our trip to my home island. Based on this communication, we expected a guided tour that would enhance our experience and understanding of this historic site.

However, upon our arrival, we did not receive any such tour. Despite paying for a tour for 4 adults and 1 child, we found ourselves embarking on what turned out to be a self-guided visit. At no point did anyone follow up with us or provide the guided experience that was promised.

This lack of service was very disappointing, especially given the anticipation we had for this visit. As a result, our experience fell short of the expectations set by their prior communication and the fee we paid for a guided tour.

I sent a follow-up email and received a quick response. I was assured they would look into the matter and get back to me ASAP. That was on July 15. I haven't heard...

The architecture is beautiful although the history behind it is terrible. The museum is currently not operating. Many of the placards were missing information.
