This park is extremely pretty in the spring and fall time. There is plenty of area for blankets and picnics along the creek..or up behind if you follow the walking trail. Right now the park is full of the spring time fishermen, dog walkers, and joggers..but you still aren't bothered by others. Still fairly peaceful and plenty of space. It's not usually an overran park unless it's a summer weekend. Avoid Simpson Park if you're not there for the water. it's a popular drop and pick up point for kayakers..and there is literally no parking at all. Now if you're a kayaker or a floater..this a good spot for you! The park has a pavilion for renting if you're in need of that kind of thing. small play ground, volley ball nets, etc. Almost always the people using this park leave with what they came with..so it stays pretty clean. literally the only reason i'm leaving a 4 star review is because ALWAYS..the bathrooms are nasty. Super Dirty. It's a male/female bathroom single person for each. Why not just make them Unisex bathrooms at that point?? No running water so it's an outhouse which is fine...but if you're not going to keep them nice, or even slightly clean can you add porter potties on other spots of the park? I will leave the park to find a bathroom and come back before i'd use the one there

I read the reviews on this place and the one gentleman mentioned his first time out hehad a nice haul of trout. I decided to check it out and I was there for 35 to 45 minutes caught about a 13 inch rainbow trout and I was ecstatic first trout of the season. I don't get out much LOL

Beautiful park, full of life. Large park area on the side of yellow breeches Park, one of the nicest ones in this area. Loved spending my lunch here walking around. Clean, lots of parking. Scenic little area

This is my favorite park in the area for a peaceful short walk! (Does anyone know what the distance is to walk around the loop?) We lived in the area for years wishing for a park like this before we found it. If you are coming south out of Mechanicsburg, the entrance may be hard to see. After you cross Lisburn Road and go under the railroad bridge look for an opening in the guard rail to the left. There is a blue sign for the Yellow Breeches on the right just across from...

This is our favorite park to end a nice tubing trip. I have been taking my trash with me when I leave, but i believe there to be a few trash cans located on the creek side of the lot. Very clean place overall. At peak times, parking is extremely limited as it's a popular spot. If you're planning on dropping a vehicle off, do it in the morning. You'll have much better luck finding a...
