Varnum's Picnic Area — Attraction in Upper Merion Township

Nice clean picnic area, tables good condition, plenty of shade, trash receptacles,bathrooms. When we was there 9/20/23 was school bus with kids they was actually breaking branches off the trees for sword fights. No teacher or aides had them stop. Think plenty of branches laying without them...

A nice area for A picnic and it has bathrooms to that you can stop at while you're walking. Across the street you can get on the trail to walk at A good area and you can see over the park...

Yet this is a nice pudding spot with potable water and a real bathroom. Yet it has good access to the chapel trail which runs along the ridge line...
