Beautiful, quiet, serene place to meditate & observe nature. Was walking my 2 dogs when a pair of eagles soared high overhead. Watched them a few minutes till I couldn't see them anymore. Only then did I realize they were sitting nearby in a tree watching us. We quietly made our way back to the car, just in time to watch them fly off. Such gorgeous, majestic creatures in one of the most beautiful places around. If you get the chance to go for an outdoor walk, this is the place. It's very frustrating to watch unique birding habitats get destroyed over the years and "rare" breeding birds displaced. I fully understand that this 2,000 plus acres of land is mainly used for hunting, but damn.
