I've lived about a mile from this museum for 25 years, yet I had never visited it. I finally did this last weekend during the Fall Harvest Festival held on the museum grounds.

This is well worth a visit. As one of the oldest houses in the area, it provides a fascinating glimpse of life in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. It has an interesting collection of furniture and household objects from these periods, many original to the house.

They also have special demonstrations of spinning, lace-making and blacksmithing during the year. Check their website...
