I've lived about a mile from this museum for 25 years, yet I had never visited it. I finally did this last weekend during the Fall Harvest Festival held on the museum grounds.
This is well worth a visit. As one of the oldest houses in the area, it provides a fascinating glimpse of life in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. It has an interesting collection of furniture and household objects from these periods, many original to the house.
