Beesley's Point Beach — Attraction in Upper Township

I’m giving five stars for the convenience and location. Very nice beach area, nice and easy access to the beach and boat ramp. hoping this winter, the township can create more parking spots and designated spots for boat parking with trailers. This could be a real mess on the weekends sometimes. also hoping public works are a little bit slower in the winter time and can clean this beach area up a little bit. Sometimes can be rough finding a spot to layout. Brown straw and very grassy weedy beach that they seem to keep on missing of cleaning up. Overall, still convenient to go to instead of fighting traffic to go over...

If you are camping as we often are and would like to go to the beach without the hassle of finding a parking spot and dragging a whole lot of stuff for a long distance it is a nice alternative. The water is murky at low tide and there is a slimy ooze under your feet if you go in the water. My wife was concerned about how sanitary that was. Small, quiet and clean beach. Was not crowded. Free parking and free entry. Restrooms were nearby. Was good enough for us to spend calm beach time with kids after dolphin watch and a zoo visit day. Water was fine. Plenty of seating to have our picnic food. Right off of Garden State parkway, so easily accessible. There were sand toy box for kids to borrow, play and return.
