I think this little beach is a true gem for the city of Marlborough! It is free for residents (must show a license or registration) and $20 for non-residents.
The beach is up a hill and it can be quite the walk when you are carrying beach gear. So be advised. A wagon is great for hauling all your gear.
There is a small playground at the bottom of the hill by the parking lot. Once you get to the top of the hill, there is sand and some grassy areas to sit. There are several picnic tables in the grassy areas. There are bathrooms with changing areas and a outdoor shower to rinse sand before you leave. There is also a snack shack that is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday I think. There are lifeguards on duty.
