This is a wonderful farm to visit with toddlers! And kids of any age really! Im 25yrs old and i loved it 😆 I have a almost 2yr old and a almost 3 year old niece and nephew and we went here. It is easy to spend the entire day just loving on the animals and playing on the equipment. The pig races are so cool and the hay ride was fun! The staff is soo nice and will let u go in and play with the baby goats and bunnies if u ask, they even offered to us! and the animals are all so friendly amd sweet and they look well cared for which is very important to me because i am a huge animal lover ❤. We live almost an hour away but will be coming frequently all summer to visit green meadows farm again and again bc u just cannot beat the price for admission and the friendly staff and amazingly cute animals! Just be sure to pack a lunch and a drink if you plan on staying out there all day. Although when i 1st went there i was under the impression that 2years old and under was free but if they are 2 they are not free, its technically 23months and under which is totally fine and understandable, it is just worded weirdly om the website but it does say it on there i just overlooked it and im sure others have too so i wanted to give a heads up but other than that everything else went perfect. Its a nice size farm but not soo big u have to run from pen to pen just to be able to see all the animals in 1 day. And they have a playground for the kiddies and tractors the kids can play on and all kinds of cool things here! Honestly its just a perfect farm to bring kids of any age to go hangout and have a nice family day together but especially toddlers bc of its size and the activities they have its much better vs going to a zoo/safari where u have to walk a million miles in one day and push a stroller up and down hills etc. I just cannot say enough good things about green meadows farm lol but thats my opinion and i wanted to share in case u were thinking of going here you definitely...
Read moreThis farm is an absolute 10 out of 10! We love coming here. It is very opened and never crowded. We have just started coming here this year and have been to multiple events. Tonight we went to Trail of Jack-O-Laterns and the staff was AMAZING! I really wish I got the names of the employees that I am about to write about so that they could be acknowledged. I was at the concession stands when I needed hot water to warm up a bottle the young man didn’t have hot water there. Another employee was waiting in line to get a drink when she said she could get me hot water from another location. She ran out while I was waiting for the rest of my stuff to be finished and came back with warm water for my little guys bottle. I am so thankful for her to go out of her way to do that for us! While in the barn we were looking at the newly mama pig and her babies a younger blonde hair girl was there. She just talked to me all about her and her littles and she didn’t seem annoyed by my questions and was happy to talk to me. Next we looked at the bull and another young brunette employee just came up to tell us all these facts about him. It was great! This farm makes me feel like it’s one big happy family and that they just want people to be apart of all they have to offer. I also feel like the extra things they provided tonight was at a reasonable cost like the light up toys and trick or treat bags. It was all under $5 and didn’t charge you a ridiculous price like other places. Thank you for all that you do to care for the people coming in to the...
Read moreWe have been coming to Green Meadows Petting Farm for years now. It’s a favorite! The animals are a great experience between traditional farm and not. Learning about the animals further from the farmers or farm hands along with the hands on approach that’s provided makes it educational as well. I highly recommend learning even more at one of the pig races!
It’s a very welcoming experience and a happy place for our family. I also find the size to be perfect! The terrain isn’t too hard to navigate either. There is more than just the beloved animals as well. At least two playgrounds with plenty of room and activities for all. The corn ‘silo’, the hayrides. In the fall you can go into the field and get your pumpkins. They also have their evening event (trail of jack o lanterns) as well in the fall. All the greatness of the farm in the evening! All family friendly too.
They have a standing what my family calls ‘snack shack’ that has come in handy many times. I believe you’re welcome to bring your own too. They have lots of seating, just know some friendly and curious animals may pop by and see what you have going on. Please don’t share!
Ok, one more thing that keeps me coming back. Bathroom situation. It’s clean! There are plenty of handwashing stations (not just sanitizer!) at the perfect placements as well outside of the bathroom building.
Honesty, I could go on but I’ll let you go and find some more great things on your own. You...
