Fehr Lake — Attraction in Utah

Fun 5-10 minute easy hike.. best part of the day was when we got to fear lake we seen a deer bending over Eric Hedin as he was exhausted from the hike because he was totally out of shape and 375 lbs. I'm overweight too and have some pretty bad asthma but the hike to fear lake was easy, the hike to the second lake was a little harder. Didn't go to the 3rd lake as I am out of shape and was tired but seeing Eric Hedin getting pumped from behind was laughs...

We took Fehr Lake trail to Sherman Lake and hoover Lake. The fall colors are Sherman lake were the best. The trail is steep on the way back up and the altitude makes it challenging. Do not go down if you are not in good shape. We exercise regularly and were stopping every 10-15 feet at some points because our hearts were racing. There is parking at the trailhead in a dirt lot. Fun 20 minute walk. Lake has fish but good luck catching them. Only pulled out maybe 5 over 5 years. Early morning and sunset are the times to fish. Good camp spots on the east and west sides of the lake. The trail continues around the lake to more lakes, but the hike is like walking staircases (down) for 1.5 miles.
