Hubbard Golf Course — Attraction in Utah

Fantastic course. Terrible experience.

I love the layout, and the course is cut well. Greens are well taken care of. Very little trash on the grounds other than golf balls that have been hit by mowers.

That being said, every time we go, we’re asked to either speed up, or skip a hole. Last time, the people behind us were not even waiting for us. We had two beginners with us, and it embarrassed them and soured them from wanting to go again.

If you are a beginner, this is not the course for you. You will be asked to “suck faster” as it was put to us once. It will be a while before I go to this...

One of the prime gems of the entire state and of all military golf courses. An atmosphere unlike any other with F-35's and A-10's flying overhead daily. One of the most special things, aside from the overall quality of the golf course, is the playing of the National Anthem at 5pm that pauses all play and gives a moment to respect and reflect. Hubbard has hosted the Utah State Amateur, PGA Section Matchplay, Utah Mid-Amateur, Senior Women's Amateur, Air Force Golf Championship, and yearly hosts the Hill Amateur. The course challenges the best players. Fun to play, the staff accommodates every golfer. This is mid-May, the course still coming out of a tough winter and 2022 drought conditions, but it looks like the maintenance staff will have the course playing under the best of conditions shortly. This can be a five star rating when the course conditions improve. If you have an opportunity to play here, don’t let your time get away from you. Oh!
