It was 107 degrees in Moab, so we needed to find some water. We took the drive up to a picturesque Oowah lake. Beautiful scenery and some people were paddle boarding, but way too cold to take a dip in! We used our pool floats as stools and occasionally dipped our toes and it was ok.

This is a great place to escape the extreme heat of downtown Moab. The weather is very cool and peaceful. It's a beautiful place with greenery and lake views. I recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket.

Beautiful lake up in the mountains. Was not busy and made for some decent fishing. Very quiet and serene area surrounded by mountains and trees. Well worth the drive or the hike.
