Incredible oasis in a very discreet place. I have been going to this place for 15+ years and it makes me sad that so many other people have discovered it! The facilities are basic in that there are only large garbage containers and permanent bathrooms with toilets and TP but no running water. They also have around 9 camping spots for $15 per day and a large day use area. The beach itself is one of the softest nicest sand beaches next to water in Utah. The water is colder and murky but really fun to swim in. Be careful because it is a legit river and swift...strong swimmers only out past a couple feet and lifejackets for youth. Also a great place to tub and paddle. Don't pass this one up! And if you are a fan of HBO's Westworld they filmed an...

An absolute oasis in a desert. It’s a little bit off the beaten path, but if you’re going through green river it is definitely worth stopping by in the summer time. Plenty of parking, nice campsites if you’re trying to stay the night, and well kept bathrooms. The beach itself will surprise you. River beaches as they come are generally poor, and in the middle of nowhere you’d expect even worse. But the quality of sand here would rival a tropical island. The water is freezing but if it’s hot out it feels fantastically cool. There are places to set up hammocks as well, and plenty of space to throw a frisbee...

Beautiful, and not too busy. Perfect place to go rafting, chill on the beach, or even catching toads. The sand is very soft/fine and great for building sand castels. Sand gets extremely hot in summertime, and water is freezing when it's not summer. Bathrooms are often nasty, just hold your breath the whole time. Lots of wildlife around such as beavers, deer, mountain goats, and more. Campsites you can spend the night it, they do now cost money. Please pack out your trash and keep the noise down late at night out of respect for others. You don't want to be...

Lovely campground. Option for paid spots (if 12 is open, you should take it!). Nice views of a small rapid and riverside camping. Further past the paid spots are dispersed. Please be aware if it rains you should only go past the campground with AWD/4x4. The road becomes a mud pit and had a few questionable sections in my AWD after heavy rain. Nice beach, and clean vault toilets, and dumpsters. The drive from the campground to the put in is beautiful.

Nice first come, first serve camping spots along the water the further you go up the river toward Nefertiti. If you’re lucky you will find some shaded areas with large trees. We hadn’t anticipated the high winds in the valley during the evening/night which, depending on the spot, can send up sand and dust or blow away anything not weighed down. The views were amazing. Definitely a great place to use water-based equipment like kayaks and rafts.
