Incredible oasis in a very discreet place. I have been going to this place for 15+ years and it makes me sad that so many other people have discovered it! The facilities are basic in that there are only large garbage containers and permanent bathrooms with toilets and TP but no running water. They also have around 9 camping spots for $15 per day and a large day use area. The beach itself is one of the softest nicest sand beaches next to water in Utah. The water is colder and murky but really fun to swim in. Be careful because it is a legit river and swift...strong swimmers only out past a couple feet and lifejackets for youth. Plenty of parking, nice campsites if you’re trying to stay the night, and well kept bathrooms. The beach itself will surprise you. River beaches as they come are generally poor, and in the middle of nowhere you’d expect even worse. But the quality of sand here would rival a tropical island. Sand gets extremely hot in summertime, and water is freezing when it's not summer. Bathrooms are often nasty, just hold your breath the whole time. Lots of wildlife around such as beavers, deer, mountain goats, and more. Campsites you can spend the night it, they do now cost money. Please pack out your trash and keep the noise down late at night out of respect for others. You don't want to be...
