Monte Sagrado Reserve — Attraction in Utuado

If I could give more stars I would do so! I saw below that there was 3 star and a 4 star review; I thought it had to be a fluke but then I guess it makes sense in the context. The 3 star mentioned there was not much to do. I guess that is true if you are looking for the more typical commercialized experience. This is truly a destination for someone looking to get lost in nature. The 4 start mentioned a festival that was held on location a couple years ago. The farm was a victim of success; the turnout was overwhelming. This year the festival will be held elsewhere as a result. I personally could have spend hours on the porch overlooking the mountains and the pond. Even the rain storms seem magical as the sky goes from brilliant blue to deep grey in minutes as the storm winds its way through the mountain tops. The fresh air is enhanced by the natural fragrances that are naturally circulated by the ever present breeze. There are miles of winding trails offering views over steams, ponds, orchards, and fields. Enjoy an easy morning with coffee while listening to the birds or sweat it up with some adventurous climbing up a waterfall with crystal clear mountain water cascading all around. I can't imagine a more peaceful place to read, paint, or just relax. Then there is the knowledge and hospitality from the guide and host. Gorge is a wealth of knowledge and passion. I've been on many tours and I am very well versed in holistic/ organic/ vegan topics. I will be making the trip back just to talk with Gorge. Just walking with Gorge is inspiring as he shares observations on the wildlife, flowers, fruits etc. I love new experiences and am constantly seeking new destinations. I don't often make plans to re-visit what has already been experienced. This place is an exception. I'll be going back to focus on pictures next time around. They won't do it justice, but I'll...
