Nice place about 19 miles from Uvalde to go sit in the water and enjoy the Nueces. It can get crowded in the summer and some folks don't like picking up their trash so it can get kinda trashy. Decent fishing if you're willing to walk down river about 200 yards and use ultralight gear. Sunsets can be beautiful

Ssssshhhhhh don't tell anyone about this spot. You can only go if you have a truck. Nice little spot to chill with the family. No restroom, so you have to make or bring your own. The water is clear, warm, and beautiful. The kids had a great time. I'm definitely coming back here.

Beautiful scenery, no restrooms, we picked up a pizza/individual chips/sodas before going. The water was cold but we still got in. They also have long ropes where you can jump from into the water. We'd definitely go back in the summer.

Had a great time at the Nueces River in Uvalde. We pulled into the River access by the bridge, we got to Uvalde after 4pm so we missed the Chalk Bluff, yet still enjoyed the Nueces River. We drove from Houston so about 5 hours. No restrooms, No food, lots of fun,...
