Really great trail and the people that maintain it do an awesome job 100%. Anytime throughout the year it's great. The only problem is oftentimes bikers. Two in particular are kind of crazy. The one guy had a yellow and black Jersey on and the other one had like some bright orange and red colored Jersey. Anyway, they came flying by me and it was no big deal but then it won't fly by a family with two kids and a third in a baby carriage and the one biker yelled back at the dad and the mom to keep their kids on the right side of the road. Which you should keep your kids on the right side of the road. That's fine but he's dopes were flying by so fast and didn't even give the courtesy on your left. They were just really jerks. If you see the bikers say hello, you'll know them. They're dressed fully ready for the tour de France And swerving in and out of people at top speed. They look like they're 45 years old too, so they're not like young kids and should certainly...

I hiked the Uwchlan trail which was beautiful and peaceful. This parking lot is for those wishing to hike the Struble Trail and/or the Uwchlan trail. Shamona Creek runs along most of the trail. I would probably recommend the Struble trial for biking, running, or waking the dog because the Uwchlan trail is more narrow. Like the Struble Trail, the Uwchlan has mile markers every 1/2 mile. The trail is mostly shaded and mostly flat, making it perfect for a hot summer day. The trail ends soon after passing Pennypack Country Club, ending on North Milford Road. The final mile marker you’ll see is 1 7/8 miles. You can continue forward if you wish, as there is a sidewalk running along the neighborhoods. I would come back to this trail because I...

I took this trail primarily to check out Dowlin Forge since I like historical stuff. The trail itself is pretty boring. It's paved and completely flat. It's also right near busy highways so it's noisy. It would be good for running or taking kids to ride their bikes, but nothing exciting if you're looking to go hiking. It does have a creek and some cool rocks to check out. I'd say if you live close by and want to get out of the house and get some exercise, it would work, but I probably wouldn't travel to...

Took a nice stroll on this trail yesterday with our children. My favorite part is that it is shaded. I enjoy walking trails in the summer but being sun bombed is unpleasant. This trail is well shaded. My husband and children had a blast walking along the water looking for rocks. My husband found broken pieces of old pottery. You get the joy of being in nature without walking through the mud

Nice trail for biking, hiking or walking. From Downingtown, Struble trail is a paved 3 mile route one way. Additional trails meander off the main artery for greater exploration and less people. Note- not one biker announced their presence when passing on a busy Saturday so keep this in mind when passing yourself on the trail. Never know who is coming up behind you!
