The lake is very nice. The path around it is pretty cool. People did not seem to respect the no pets part of the past, but that's normal. Mostly due to the fact that the sign was very small and hard to see so people did not notice that. Here is a cool bridge. People were fishing in the park and that was nice. People had a lot of fun there at the shelters and the smallish playground. Parking was good. The turnaround is kind of unique in a park. This is a reservoir for the city of Saint Paul, so try not to pee into it. Although nature itself pees into it. So I guess you could pee into it if you really needed to. But, don't drive motor vehicles. Even though somebody damaged the sign that says not to use motor vehicles. You should still not use them. The pathway Trail that is there is very nice and well maintained....

It is about a 2 5 to 3 mile loop max, depending on the routes you take or where you park to begin your walk. You can always just see tge swans or turn around, if you don't plan on a long walk.. Also large crayfish on the rocky bottom. Excellent place for a picnic or just to take a nice relaxing walk in nature. They have plenty of parking and picnic tables...
