Great experience for kids. We visited this farm on a Thursday, and found it uncrowded and relaxing. They have a small gift shop section and beautiful pumpkins. The corn maze was decimated by Helene, but we still had fun completing the crossword puzzle and finding the correct path from start to finish. The animals were friendly as well as the family. Farmer Tyler offered a mini train tractor ride and a "hayless" hay ride around the farm. My kids favorite thing was the bounce pillow. What kid doesn't love to bounce? That paid for itself right there. The portable bathrooms were clean 👌 which was a big plus. They offer refreshments but not on the Thursday that we went. However, there are lots of picnic tables for families and groups to have lunch. With so many things closed after Helene came through, we were so thankful to find Henry River Farm open for visitors. My daughter loved all of them, especially the corn pit and barrel train ride. The apple pies, doughnuts, and slushies were all delicious.
