This park offers you the opportunity to celebrate birthdays with jumpers for the kids or adults lol i did it but got winded (too old haha) and plenty of park table benches with bbq grills, plenty of playground to play with other kids in the park for the kids , even though i myself went down the big slide hahaha super fun, and on occasions you will get the splendid perk of getting to see a peacock or two sometimes, it depends, then there is a pond passing a little bridge that has turtles in it or on tree stumps, sun bathing, after a satisfying bbq with the fam you can burn off the calories taking a beautiful site seeing hike ( beware of possible snakes mind you even though i have not seen any ...YET!) Up a hill behind a gate that once on top of the hill you get ro see Vallejo in all its beautiful splendor and best part there are benches at every corner of hill so if you are a lil out of shape (Like me lol) you can take a kittle breather and rest up a bit so as to continue on to the next bench and the next bench then on top take beautiful photos of the view for your facebook or instagram , snapchat, twitter. All in all this place is a great place to spend with the family or if you have no kids like me , just you and the hubby and to add a little bit more fun add some...

Great park that is easy to recommend to anyone. There are ample picnic tables, grills, and open spaces. We saw 4 resident peacocks that were walking around the park. The playground it's huge and has all age groups covered. We went on a short hike to the top of the ridge above the park. The view from the top was better than you'd expect and the park service mows the trail to keep is very wide and clear. We went in April, and there were tons of ticks on the trail. Basically every single plant that had something hanging over the trail had one or many trucks eating to grab us. They are fairly easy to spot and the trail maintenance gave us enough room to avoid getting any at all, but be aware. Note: no dogs allowed at the park because of the...
