Rustic Grace Estate — Attraction in Van Alstyne

Let me start off with this Venue is such a beautiful building BUT when booking with this place its all you get. From day one I was under the impression that I would have help "every step of the way" as they put it in the tour that they provided. Each time that I had a question I was meet with the same response of see the list of venders we provided. We had reached an agreement that I would be able to place some wine bottles as decorations during the reception moments after they were put out they were picked up by the venue staff. Same staff member who I was told was our day of coordinator that was more of a babysitter didn't do anything to help anyone in any way. I had to ask this employee 3 times to lower the AC as many of my guests were fanning them selves with our wedding programs because of how hot it was. Also note this venue does not have a refrigerator at all, when I asked why I was told one ever had an issue or need for it (find it hard to believe). If we had not rented an Air BnB 5 minutes away my cake would have melted. To top it all off no one could hear the DJ to the point that I had to yell out to get everyone's attention to please sit down so that My Husband and I could be introduced if it wasn't for the DJ himself bringing in his own speaker no one would have heard any other music that night. So many details about this place left me very disappointed as I mentioned its just a beautiful building that you are getting. Shop around there are plenty of venues in this area that provide such a better wedding...

This venue was absolutely everything for our big day! From the moment that we got the chance to tour the grounds, everything here was perfect and met our needs. First the bridal suite, it is breathtaking and spacious. The setup for multiple bridesmaids to have their hair and makeup completed at the same time is so helpful! You don't feel like you on top of each other. I loved it and so did my bridesmaids! The groom suite allowed all the guys in our wedding to relax with pool or even head down to play some football without seeing any of us ladies. The chapel is grand and had a elegant rustic atmosphere that allowed our guest to sit freely and have enough space to get a great view of me walking down the aisle. The beautiful barn, it's the absolute perfect reception space! Our wedding was slated to have about 85 people and the buffet, bar, dessert table, signing table, gift table, etc, were in perfect spots to visually be seen along with being accessible. Our cocktail hour had all 8 cocktail tables and we used The Grazing Hour to hand out personal charcuterie boards to our guests, which added the absolute perfect touch, plus the views at the barn are so calming and refreshing to see some countryside in North Texas! The venue attendants Jessica, Jennifer and Marissa truly made my day so special! Rustic Grace Estates will hold a magical place in my heart forever!...

Rustic Grace was the first venue that we looked at and we loved that it had the church feel of the chapel, which was absolutely stunning, as well as the reception hall on the same property. We loved that the reception hall had a dance floor, bar area, and a catering room while also having twinkle lights and making the space feel so cozy. They also have a stunning new bridal suite that is on the back of the property that was just finished. It is a house that they have renovated and has 10 vanities, a full bathroom, a pedistool to get ready on, as well as different rooms for breakfast/food, drinks, and a first look. My husband had a new grooms suite as well where they had a pool table, Nintendo Switch, and a bunch of TVs. Tara is the manager at the venue and she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely responsive and always was available to talk to me and help me if I had questions. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone getting married. It was a beautiful venue and when decorated it was truly magical. They were great to work with and made my wedding day run smoothly.
