First Impressions: 1. Highly organized 2. Fab customer service 3. Flower fields...just WOW!!!
Very easy to find and parking is very near ticket check in/exit. Once you check in, option to walk or take a wagon to the flower fields. We walked to slowly take in all the amazing colors and textures of the flowers. 2020: zinnias, cosmos and of course the stunning sunflowers. 🌻 🌻 🌻
Pay for the bags; clippers come with (to borrow) and don't forget to grab a zip tie or 2 which you'll need to close up your bag. Water in first, then flowers. Walk around a bit BEFORE you cut because they are heavy!!! We did the large bag for our sunflowers and smallness for others. Took the wagon back.
(Note for next time to bring one other person to just help carry the final bouquet. 😆)
So much fun! More to do than just the fields and lovely way to spend a weekend morning with friends. Highly recommend, especially for the price. Will for sure be going...
Read moreI went here specifically because I had seen ads for a lavender festival going on. In terms of festivals, I would not call it a festival. I have been to other lavender festivals and there were actual vendors, antique booths, this was a lackluster festival and there were no great lavender products to buy. I would have loved to give my business to the farm by purchasing lavender soaps or cookies but they did not have those offerings. I enjoyed feeding the goats though, and despite no actual festival being in occurrence I really enjoyed walking through the sunflower farm. I’ve been to sunflower farms and these were some of the largest, awe-inspiring sunflowers I’ve ever seen! The man operating the tractor trailer to drive us down to the flowers was also very kind and friendly. I’d recommend this place, just not specifically for lavender if that’s...
Read moreWent to the farm today and it was 20/a ticket!?! On the website it says abt 16$/ticket. There were only like 15-20 short rows of lavendar. And seriously, what is the 25$/10$ for a jar/vase thing?? Lavendar isn't an expensive herb to grow, especially with it coming back every year, that's shameful. There was nothing special going on about it, boring and empty. I was expecting something more for the 80$ I paid for 4 people, 1 being a minor. Bad experience all around. 8$ for 1/2 dozen of donuts is kinda reasonable, but why so expensive if they have red 40 in them? The lemonade they had was 6$+ each, which makes no sense because it's all pre-made stuff anyways. 17$ for an ice-cream treat with some lavendar syrup was the only thing I saw was reasonable bc it was good. It felt like a scam going there, and the tickets aren't refundable. I...
