Easy hike with access to the shoreline of Webber Pond with some fine vantage points. We saw four eagles on the island and heard a loon call. Part of this trail follows the old trolley line that used to go from Vassalboro to Augusta. There is a second much shorter trail across the street that leads to a marshy area full of red winged blackbirds in May - the trail was pretty marshy too....

This is a nice trail that is open Dawn to dusk and leads to a small pond. I went just as the sun was setting and jumped two deer and saw a pair of owls. Good for a 15 min hike or picnic in the summer time. It could use a little maintenance but it is a...
