Beautiful place to hangout with your friends and family. We went in a group of 25 people and stayed there for 2 nights.Had enough rooms for about 8-9 families.Located near Lake Erie.We had a great time together.Outside there is enough place for kids to play.Trails are too beautiful.A perfect cross country place. They have a kitchen also equipped with all the necessary items. You can cook your own food.Although a little little hygiene issues were there but owner took care of it as soon as we told him. All together a very nice trip.

Wilderness lodge roaring fork. Legit my favorite resort growing up. Now bringing my daughter on her birthday for the first time. See list of issues below: -stale bread. Can’t eat it. -ordered a s’mores decaf latte. Drank 25% before asking if it was decaf. They said “no we made a mistake” and remade the wrong flavor. Attempt #3 they might get it right. -ordered kids chicken tenders with grapes and apples. No grapes served. No apples served. Come on Disney! Where’s the magic?

Amazing trails here! It was my 9-yr-old's first time on skiis and he loved it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable -especially for the kids! They had a cookout going on, too, which we stopped at after turning in our equipment. We'll definitely come again.

We spent 3 amazing days at the Wilderness Lodge, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled right in the middle of the forest, the lodge offers pure peace and silence — the perfect escape to connect with nature and spend quality time with family and friends. Every morning felt magical, surrounded by the fresh forest air and the soothing sounds of nature. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining comfort with rustic charm, and the large, fully equipped kitchen made cooking together a joy. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel completely at ease. The service was exceptional — whenever we needed anything, we simply called the caretaker, and he was always quick to respond, friendly, and very helpful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway where you can relax, recharge, and create lasting memories with loved ones, this is the perfect place. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily...

I'm confused. The man I talked to at Wilderness Lodge said they will not be open for cross country ski season until the end of Pennsylvania rifle season. Sounds logical on the surface. So I went cross country skiing less than a couple hours away at Byrncliff Cross Country in Varysburg, NY -- also in the heart of rifle hunting. With less than half the lake effect snow as Wilderness Lodge, Byrncliff had skiers galore of all levels having a great time on the groomed trails. ||Now, as a lifelong successful hunter myself as well as an avid skier, I've seen hunters, snowmobilers and skiers respectfully coexisting, as they enjoy their favorite pasttime. Seems a shame that Wilderness lodge, with its bountiful snow fall hasn't explored ways for skiers to ski safely during deer hunting season. After all, there's revenue to be made....

Upon arriving to the property we found that one bathroom was out of order. The toilet had been removed and the adjourning bedroom smelled so badly that we couldn't use it at all. There was no kind of internet or cable. We found out when we got there that the caretakers lived in an apartment directly connected to the rental and they in turn walked into and through the rental numerous times. They had access to our living space at all times. There was even a door that led from their house into one of the bathrooms. There was no lock on our side. When we used the bathroom we found their personal toiletries in the medicine cabinet. We felt very unsafe and our privacy invaded. I attempted to contact the owner with my concerns but he has just...
