Great Day Boat Tours LLC — Attraction in Venice

A wonderful evening!! As a nature lover, I was searching for boat tours in the Venice area that have experience with marine life sighting, and came across the Great Day Boat Tours website. I found they cater to a variety of boat tours, but was ecstatic to see "wildlife tour" as an option. I called in the morning-of to see if it was possible to make a tour happen that day and Captain Jenn was amazing!! Very informative of what we would likely see on a tour that favors the local wild and marine life and was able to schedule a boat tour for the same evening. Very accommodating! Captain Jenn is also so knowledgeable on the area. She took us to places she knew dolphins frequently hunt, manatees are occasionally seen and common bird-watching spots. We were able to see a dolphin, a rookery with many bird species getting ready to perch for the night, jellyfish galore, schools of fish, jumping fish, and even found an injured pelican when venturing out into the Gulf. Captain Jenn was awesome and made calls for the pelican to be rescued. Jenn was a fantastic tour guide throughout the ride and shared fascinating and educational stories of her own experiences with marine life. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her and would highly recommend Great Day Boat Tours to anyone who is even the slightest bit curious of the waters in the area! Our family from Northern Michigan enjoyed a delightful three-hour boat ride along the Intracoastal Waterway in Venice. It was such a great experience. It certainly helped that the weather cooperated but more importantly Captains Jenn and Eric guided us with expertise and warmth, making the trip both enjoyable and enlightening. Their wealth of knowledge about the area and its history added depth to our adventure. The pristine cleanliness of the boat heightened our comfort, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the tranquility of the surroundings. As the sun bathed us in its warmth, we couldn't help but feel rejuvenated by the serenity of the waterway. Overall, our time spent under the care of Captains Jenn and Eric was nothing short of amazing. We departed with fond memories and an appreciation for the beauty of the water and surrounding area. We highly recommend this cruise to anyone that wants to be on the water without having to navigate yourself through all of the canals and ins and outs of the Intracoastal. Relaxation on the water was what we were looking for and we even saw dolphins. However, please know that if he had wanted to jump off the boat and swim and play lots of music Eric and Jenn would have been very accommodating to this as well. We highly recommend...

Extraordinary! First, Captains Jenn and Eric are joyful, wonderful people who delight in sharing their love of Venice’s waterways with guests. My friends and I felt as though they were taking us out because they wanted to, not because it’s their business. Second, every communication with them was personal. The weather started looking dicey for the day I had reserved, so Captain Jenn and I went back and forth via email to reschedule. She always responded quickly and in the kindest possible way. Last, the ride itself was awesome: we saw dolphins, birds, wonderful waterfront houses, and even a couple of crew teams rowing by. Jenn and Eric fielded dozens of questions we threw at them about water quality, hurricanes, red tide, etc. Because they also dive, they knew a lot about virtually every aspect of the Gulf and the inlets. And—much to our delight—the boat itself was ridiculously clean and comfy! I plan on bringing all our special guests...
