Read moreI've always liked this park. It has a nice green area for kids to run around. A playground for kids to play. The downside of the playground is that it has sand, but if that doesn't bother you it shouldn't be a problem. It also has a couple of party areas you can rent. The party areas include bbq grill, benches, "counter" space and a sink. There are a couple of trails of hiking is your thing. I dont know how difficult the trails are because hiking is not my thing. You can see the damage that the Thomas fires did in 2017. Also these beautiful eagle carvings were created from burned tree trunks. There are multiple options to make your walk/hike/run as difficult as you like and all offer wonderful views. I will admit that I was physically wanting to die on some of the steep inclines but I made it. Literally- at one point I thought I might have to bear crawl -but that could be me being dramatic because I saw a hottie with a body RUNNING and encouraging his dog to keep up.
