We were here on a beautiful day. We normally walk at Freer to get steps in, but decided to change it up a bit. The paths are a little confusing for first timers. It may be due to the pipeline going through it. My daughter would be having fun and then stop to hold my hand because she would get creeped out. I have to admit, that I got creeped out several times as well. I'm not really sure why. But after an hour we just wanted to get out of there.    Read moreGreat trails and decent fishing. I go for catfishing, last summer I caught close to a hundred all together. They were thriving. but I’ve heard rumors of people keeping them instead of releasing and that has ruined the population. Hopefully the park district can put some signs up about giving fines for taking fish( which is honestly disgusting considering where the ponds are located). And maybe stock them again.
