Valiant Vineyards Winery & Distillery — Attraction in Vermillion Township

We are two couples who drove from Minneapolis for a weekend get-away. Valiant Vineyards was everything we hoped for, relaxing, quiet rooms, wonderful wine AND spirits. A delightful winery and B&B in a delightful little town! Our rooms were decorated with a local flavor, very clean and very comfortable. Good protocols were followed here -- everything here was sanitized and germ free. We enjoyed the wine tasting; there is a large selection and we bought a case of various wines to add to our collection at home. Our friends bought wine too. My husband is a very picky Bourbon whiskey aficionado and wishes he had bought more of their Bourbon. (He's trying to figure out ways to get more delivered to him.) We were stunned by the beautiful sunset views from an upper deck where we enjoyed evening drinks. There is also a wood paneled board room on the second level which is beautiful and a perfect meeting space with a kitchen and public bathrooms nearby. The morning brought us a marvelous breakfast (included) and later we had terrific Bloody Mary's drinks with a full hamburger attached! There were even non-meat burgers and other options for the vegan guests. We were delighted to meet the owner who visited with us for a few minutes over breakfast; he is a kind and caring person. My husband and I had our wedding reception at the vineyard two years ago. The staff was great, and very accommodating. Adrienne was very patient and helpful throughout the planning process. The food was amazing! Our guests still to this day rave about how good the food was. We ordered the pot roast and the turkey, they were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. The entire experience was incredible, my husband and I joke about divorcing to have the experience of another reception here. The pricing for the reception was very reasonable, it would have cost five times the amount where we live.

We recently stayed again at the vineyards, as before the staff was friendly and accommodating. We did a wine tasting and a tour with Adrienne. The wine is so good you would think you were in Paris. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here last night. We were told to let them know ahead of time if we would be coming in after winery hours. When I called to let them know, they asked about our wine preferences, and upon arrival, we found a glass of wine waiting in the fridge for each of us, consistent with our preferences, along with delicious slices of chocolate cake. We took these out to the deck on the upper level to enjoy and lingered awhile to enjoy the sunset. We even saw a few foxes playing near the edge of the woods!|We found the honeymoon suite to be delightful, with a comfortable king bed and relaxing jacuzzi. Breakfast this morning was delicious, with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, perfectly seasoned potatoes, coffee, and juice.
