It's a nice trail not crowded, some of the trail goes along French Creek. Portable toilets. Look for the Bean trail area . Where I parked there was a small parking area.

It was a couple miles of very loose gravel, followed by nicely paved trails through shaded swamps. Lots of mosquitoes. So, don't ever slow down.

Great trail if you love Nature like we do! We rented EBikes from PA Wake and Skate in Conneaut Lake and enjoyed a lovely ride!

Just went there today and the trail has some good things and some bad things. Started at the Kreider trailhead, small but not busy. Went the whole 5 miles to rte 332. Yep, that's it, 5 miles. Very nice trail, but just 5 miles. Just feel like you get started and it's over. Probably a great walking trail. It does have places to eat at the end. We were going to go to Hosses which is right there by the end of the trail, but figured we'd go up the horrendously busy highway to Cracker Barrel just to get a little more biking in. Crossing the highway took a good 5 minutes. Not too good a berm on the side, and we took a back route as soon as possible. But made it and enjoyed our lunch. Won't rush back to that trail, just...

We like riding here for several reasons. It's close by, it's not usually overly crowded, and it's relatively flat. We like to start at the Meadville/Home Depot trailhead, as it's a gentle climb to the other end, making the return trip easy. There are a few places where the moss is quite solid on the trail, so beware of slippery areas, but in general the pavement is in very good condition. There are Porta John's at the Meadville and halfway points, and there are many shelters and benches scattered along the trail. Overall, a nice ride, if a bit too straight. But no complaints from me, I'm...

Great simple, easy trail for all ages. The scenery is wonderful passing through different types of landscapes. The paved trail is very well maintained with two access points in the middle (in addition to the beginning & end of the trail). Several places to stop & relax or have a bit to eat you brought with you. The trail is 5 miles one way and does have a few simple back road crossings. Great trail for a quick adult ride or a nice medium ride...
