Newhoca Park — Attraction in Vernon

This place is a beautiful peaceful place to go swimming... bewarrened you CAN NOT have an fire pit or fire grill going or cops will be called and all around there it is a private area. During the day it is a camp, you can go swimming but costs you also have to be in bathing suit and can't go past the the orange line, there are two life guards on duty turning day... just be respectful seriously...

We found it obnoxious that the town website does not mention any fee to access and that there are no services provided at least not today yet they still charge per person not even per vehicle. this place blows. no signs saying to pay and after offering to pay, we were told we don't need to if we are just "hanging out" ..so we walk to an empty beach in regular clothes on a rainy day..and were kicked out because "people pay to swim here" . your beach isn't...
